REMINDER: A new Christmas Celebrity Special PAOTY will be aired this Thursday 22 December 2022 at 7.00pm on Sky Arts.
I'm wondering if the artists might try harder and stay on brief in both PAOTY and LAOTY if the three finalists all produce works for the final commission and the commissioning body picks the one they like best? To be fair the use of the fire in the submission painting was pretty good but then it became rather disturbing when the theme popped up all the time culminating in some strange post apocalyptic offering as the commissioned piece. Let’s hope the judges make better choices for a change.😈 Wishing everyone a cheerful, warm and peaceful festive season.įingers crossed.
